I wonder, are the tools used for translating this game universal (As in the tools works for every other game) or do you have to come up with a different set of tools for every game you plan to translate? I never really did understood how people translated the in-game text so I wouldn't know.

Each game is completly differerenc format. So i need to create new tool for new project.
So Kenghot...is there any possible way to Translate these games to english? Or even give me a Dialog script?

as you wish,

I uploaded script file at this post http://www.kenghot.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=143&PN=1

btw, Translating to English is much easier than Thai. u don't need to change font in game. We're so envy you all

jester: Just a quick tip: stop telling everyone your strange thinkings. This game SOLD WELL ENOUGH, like FFCC. So if I would be you I would think about EVERY FRIGGIN POST I DO ! You know it is pretty annoying to read em.... so THINK.

topic: Yeah, sure sounds good, if you can read thai... but I wonder how you got those zelda Fonts come out so well ?

I fail to see how personal attacks help anyone other than proving that you are an asshole?

My post was simply questioning if it we are going to see an upcoming English release.

jester, nor editing your post's , neither calling anyone anything will take you anywhere.

But I guess talking to you is just not really worth my time cause you can't stand people showing you the right direction, arguing with you will just result in edited posts on your side so I stop this now and hope your happy with what you received by that (if you even did).

But anyway: I ask again, kenghot: How did you get those Zelda Fonts to look that good ? Did you hack the graphics or just the fonts ? Or did you "just" replace the text ? I just ask cause I'm pretty impressed by your work.

Keep up the good work:

Pas

pasc, my edited post (which you read) only stated that I questioned if the heavily Japanese-city aspect of the game would easily carry over to a Western audience. It wasn't expressed very well in that post, so I changed it, despite your assertion.

I'm not quite sure how you get off thinking that your opinions are any better or more valid than any other persons. You said that I should think before I post? I do. It's blatantly obvious that you don't, however.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
