So I have gotten my vwii booting Wii games with usb loader gx however I reformatted my 8gb usb drive and attempted to transfer my games back to the usb drive using the latest version of wiibackup manager but usb loader gx says that my usb wasn’t initialized. For the 8gb usb I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Updating all the homebrew apps
Reinstalling all the homebrew apps
Checking the hashes for the iso files
Trying Wii flow
Reinstalling my cios files (including trying the alternative ones)
Switching USB ports
Reformatting my usb as fat32, ntfs and wbfs (to no avail)
What ended up working was changing the usb device I was using which I find strange considering that it has worked previously. The usb drive that I’m using is a 32gb usb but it comes with it’s own problems it boots a black screen whenever I try and boot a Wii game I have tried all the steps I tried for the 8gb drive in addition to trying different games and trying to force the video output to ntsc. Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be?
