Homebrew Is there something wrong with A9LH?

At the time I didn't have OOT3DS or Cubic Ninja, and my browser was what got the partial so I couldn't even launch it to attempt browserhax. It's actually the reason I bought Cubic Ninja from my friend for like 15 dollars.
Browserhax doesn't work on 2.1 at all :P
I ran RxTools devmode which made the sysUpdater CIA appear. Then I downgraded again.

Sorry, totally forgot it's payloads require 9.0+ even if the browser version is exploitable :P

How did you get into rxTools devmode? Did you use the browser exploit?

I did :P

This is why I don't mind downgrading 9.2 -> 2.1 on the o3DS, I can easily fix a partial downgrade. 9.2+ however, yeah, no XD

Bricking is almost impossible in the process now. There are so many checks, I'd wager at least 99% of bricks are user error.
They are. Each time I see someone mention an issue on #cakey, it's mostly due to user error.
Ironically, the tools didn't brick users, they over protected the users (at one point) :P

For me, laziness. Autobooting into EmuNAND with HomeMenuHax works just fine for me so I don't really have much desire to bother with setting up a9lh.
Makes sense to me, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. End result is still the same, free stuff.

Yeah, I tested 0.79 OTPHelper. Got the same false positive every time I downgraded :P
It really can't get much safer than it already is.
Nothing "new" will come along and make it take just a few seconds.
That's impossible because the OTP is locked on all firmwares above 2.1.
There will always be a chance of bricking if you mess it up.

The only thing stopping anyone from installing A9LH is paranoia.

I was responding to @Supster131's comment about how the tools used to overprotect people :)
