If your computer has a built-in Multimedia reader, you can put the SD adapter in it, and it works a lot better than a USB adapter.

rly? i saw no noticeable difference...

well obviously it doesn't hurt to keep the adapter, but u have no real use for it. just put it sumwhere

Like Jundeezy, when I got a new card for my phone I put the old one in the wii via the adapter. Other then that, unless you have a camera or something that can use it...

My computer doesnt have that kind of reader, but anyways that USB reader that comes with my Cyclo works perfect and I can use it for just about anything.

Will I ever need it again in the future or should I throw it out?

Depends, for what flashcart did you get it from?
I would just keep it anyway as a backup or whatever. If you got the DSTT adapter, that might be worth throwing away.

I think you should hold on to it in case you might need to use it in the future. I mean, like most people have said, you can use it in devices such as cameras and laptops/any computer with an SD Reader, and even the Nintendo Wii and the Playstation 3 (older versions) can read SD cards, which expands the number of devices you can use the card on. Then again, if you absolutely don't need it, you could always recycle it somehow...? o.o
