Hacking Is there a way to extract/inject .sav files from/to retail DS game car

Ai've heard of SavSender to extract .sav files from retail game carts, yet ai'm unsure of whether it works with an acekard... Can anyone tell me how to extract .sav files from game carts, and (if it is possible) how to inject .sav files into game carts with an acekard 2i? BTW ai'm using a patched ak2i on a 1.4 DSi.

I have used an FTP program called "NDS Backup Tool Wifi 0.3f" http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=91958 to backup up the save (and ROM) of my New Super Mario Bros. You only need an FTP server on your PC. If you search the name, you may find a guide with all the instructions and files.

It can also inject the saves in original carts.

If the SavSender program doesn't work you can use this here.
NDS Adapter
It's basically a usb adapter that rips sav files to/from retail carts. I have one and it works great and quickly.

It's ok, ai have a few DSLs and an original NDS.

Thanx, but ai was looking for a free alternative.

But ai'll consider it if ai can't get the backup tool to work.

As mentioned, you should use either SavSender or NDS Backup Tool. I haven't really had experience with the former but I do recommend the latter.
