Hacking Is powersaves pro region locked?

strange,tried it before, it's region locked but looks like they removed it?
cos i can backup saves and apply cheats on EUR [Resident evil rev] and JPN [Code of Princess,Pokemon Y & Biohazard Rev] carts using the U.S. version of 3DS Powersaves.

It doesn't display Japanese text properly on the US software, but you can look at the list of codes on their website and google translate them.

Tried using my Powersaves on my JPN Pokemon Y import. Didn't work for me. My US version works fine though.

Right, Windows and its lack of native jap. locale x.x. I assume it'll work if you install the japanese locale to your system.

Nope, didn't work either.... but, I went ahead and downloaded the Japanese labeled download on their website, and used my USA Key, and it worked!

pretty sure you have to download the language support from Windows Update first. On W10, at least.

Not sure, I was informed to install Japanese support before enabling Jap. locale on W10.

I did download the Japanese Language Pack, prior to enabling the Japanese locale. However, after installing the Japanese Powersaves software, I removed//uninstalled the language pack and set the locale back to English, and it still works. If you try to use the Japanese installer for Powersaves without at least having the Japanese locale set (not sure if language pack was needed) - then it'll install the English version and tell you it's outdated and to download the latest version. I had actually tried doing that first, when I read that Powersaves Licences Codes might not be region locked. When you suggested setting the Japanese locale, I decided to try the Japanese installer again with the Japanese locale set.

Anyways, that's just what I did on my Windows 10 system.
