Hello there, i am trying the OOT3Dhax on my 10.7 3DS EUR. I have to buy a powersaves for this to work. Wheter the powersaves pro from the link below works on my Europe 3DS?

Power Saves is region locked. "Power Saves Pro" is the US branding for what is simply known as Power Saves in Europe.

So no, the device you linked to will not work with your European games.

It's my understanding that it is actually the software and not the hardware that is region locked. The device comes with a region locked registration code, once you've registered your device it's locked to that region.

A quick google directed me to Datel's support page, which should answer most of your questions (probably the first you should have done), which can be found here.

As far as i know, a EUR license code is only usable with games from EUR region and a USA license code is only usable with USA games. But the software and hardware will work for both.

I bought a USA licence code with a user over PM because i have a few legit USA carts, but usually i use EUR

To the people saying it's region locked, have you actually tried it? Because I have, and it works fine with games from all regions.

the device is not region lock,but the license key is region lock.
buy it from amazon uk or any shop in Europe.

that's really annoying though, it's better to just get the correct one. I got an EUR Power Saves from Amazon and I never had any trouble.

It is region locked.

However, if you grabbed the wrong region one, you can simply e-mail them to get them to change the region key for you.
(may take a while for them to get it done for you)

I have a US Powersaves and it works on my import games. I even bought a CYBER Gadget because I was told by people here it wouldn't work, but I ended up not needing it and sold it. Have you guys actually tried it or are you just assuming it's region locked?

powersaves said they region locked their keys.
can you please tell me your import game name?

It is region locked. I got a US key, but i emailed them about the issue. They replied after 5 days and changed the region of key to EUR.

Do not register the key with your email before getting the proper key. Register only after they email you back.

strange,tried it before, it's region locked but looks like they removed it?
cos i can backup saves and apply cheats on EUR [Resident evil rev] and JPN [Code of Princess,Pokemon Y & Biohazard Rev] carts using the U.S. version of 3DS Powersaves.
