Hacking is my Ez 3 in 1 DOA? or is it the new chip?

hello,

i just got my second ez 3n1 from DX and it's not recognized by neither DSTT or EZ Flash V. i know that they changed the chip in the 3n1 and that would explain why my DSTT doesn't recognize it, but does EZ Flash V have the same problem? or do i just have a dead cart?

Does the DS detect the 3-in-1? It should show up as an option pak in the DS menu (after flashing a game to NOR it will show up as a GBA game pak).

If both EzFlash V and DSTT does not recognise it, you won't be able to flash it to test it.

Get Rudolph's ExpLoader (latest version 0.5beta) and have a look:

Just click on the GBA_exploader to D/L it. It's in English

EDIT: ok, that worked so its not dead. so does ez flash have an update to their ez flash v kernel to run it natively yet? does 1.7 do that?

Click the third button down on the touch screen The top of the menu should say Help EZ5 v1.xx
