I won't say 100% because I'm not 100% sure. If you reaaaaaaly want to be safe, take your save, get it on your computer, erase the game, get the game from the titles site, and you should be super good, but I'm not 100%.....maybe 99%.

Idiots guide to finding out if its safe to go online in usum

Step 1: Go to the eshop,then into the usum banner for purchasing the game

Step 2: Check if the game is buyable fully and not a preload (it will say available now on the top of your 3ds)

Step 3:either buy the game from the eshop or be a dirty 3ds pirate and download it from the freeshop.

Step 4: profit???

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
