i heard such thing exists for GC, what about PS2?
I don't think it's possible, don't take my word for it though since I'm not sure.
No idea. There was little interest in homebrew development for PS1, even compared with PS2 which didn't have much either.
well burning on a dvd would be nearly impossible. PS1 can only read CDs, even if your using ps2. So such a program is possible and may even exist but will only work on CDs which is kinda useless. Might be useful for older psx games or games you can rip the movies from. The only way to make it use DVDs is making a PS1 emulator for PS2. Its kinda like how you cannot use gba roms on a SLOT-1 NDS flash cart.
are you sure? so you mean that the PS1 Bios is not able to read DVDs?
It's not the BIOS, The actual laser can't read the discs.
but its the same laser that reads PS2 games.
Are you talking about playing PS1 backups on a Playstation or on a Playstation 2? If it's a PS1, it's due to the Hardware, it can only read CDs. If it's PS2 then it probably is the BIOS.
as the topic says " Is it possible to burn multiple PS1 games on a DVD, And play it via PS2?" i'm talking about PS2, but I'm gonna try this.
