Well, the Homebrew Channel will NOT update via wifi update. It always says error: Download Failed.

(Around 0-20%) So my question is can I just download the ELF file and update the Homebrew Channel by launching the ELF in the channel itself? Or will it make two Homebrew Channels?

i heard there's no problem in launching the v8 in the channel itself.

Yes, but when I do launch it from the file, will I be alright? I plan on DL the ELF from the website, and putting it in my apps foler, then launching the update from the Homebrew Channel.

yes.that was what i'm talking about,it should be fine since the wireless update is basically the same,it downloads the elf and runs it
