Homebrew Is DVDx safe to install?

Hi All,

I have a wii 4.0e with a wiikey.
I have snesgx and vba gx and load it through the hbc channel.
I was thinking of putting roms onto dvd and load them using either snes gx or vba gx.
Will the dvd load the roms if i dont have DVDX installed?
Is DVDx safe for me to install and will it mess any other programmes up?

You must have DVDX to play anything off a DVD that isnt a game.

If your on chip, don't let the HomeBrewChannel offer to install dvdx on it, cause it won't work.

Anyone know what should be done on a chipped console to get it working after marcan and gang have mucked it up for me ? ie dvdx (via homrewchannel upgrade) is installed but doesn't work
