Hacking Is Bootmii to IOS Safe?

Hi

I have started to mod my wii, I am in version 4.0E and have installed The Homebrew Channel
I have tryed to install bootmii to boot2 but my wii is newer, so it can only be installed to IOS

I would just like to know what are the risks that i will face if i install it to the IOS and wii preloader help me from not from bricking my console

Bootmii as ios is safe, you won't brick your console if you follow the sticky mod any 4.3 or below guide at the top of this forum.

Right at the top of the forum it says

#dowloads takes you to filetrip, you can get most of everything from here including priiloader

yeah thats fine as long as you install one or the other and make a nand back up everything will be fine

With bootmii as an IOS and Priiloader you're about as safe as you can get on a console that doesn't support bootmii as boot2.
You'll be safe from the most common bricks (bannerbricks, theme bricks, or anything that causes the "system menu files to become corrupt") but it isn't perfect protection. As long as you don't do anything stupid though, you'll be fine.
