Gaming Is apples the snack for Pokemon in Pokemon snap?

Since Pokemon snap is getting a remake on the switch, can players use apples for Pokemon in the game, too?

in the n64 original? yes you can throw apples for pokemons to eat or guide them to a certain place you want.
Pester balls is to make the pokemon dizzy/hungry
and poke flute to wake/make them dance.

On the new game? no idea but i guess it will keep apples maybe abit more vaiety now who knows.
