Hacking Is 4.8 really the latest loader for G6 Lite?

This is my setup:

G6 U-DISK Manager 5.1
Loader 4.8 English
G6 Lite 4G

I've tried to get Rhythm Tengoku Gold and Sigma Harmonics to work, and they just... wont.
Sigma Harmonics won't even start, I get a white screen. Rythm Tengoku Gold starts but hangs up before
I can start actually playing the game. I've tried to patch them several times, tried safe mode and trim/no trim.
I've tried several roms so I know they aren't corrupted.

Is there no newer loader? handheldsources claims they have the 4.9 loader, but it points to 4.8 loader .rar files...

my RTG would play, it just wouldn't hold a save.

g6L won't hold a save for Castlevania Order of Ecclesia either.

I've noticed all this too. So what, is there a 4.9 firmware or not???

CastleVania holds save fine here , wrote it using safe mode + force r/w and it has been fine.
