Makes me think of that episode of Family Guy where Chris is afraid to masturbate because God is watching him. In this case God would be Stevie Jobs.

Steve Jobs sounds like the kind of guy that would dress up as a mannequin in a public toilet to take pictures of the feet of innocent young ladies.

Targeted advertising. They know you walk past KFC a lot, you get more KFC ads online, you've been in a club/arena when certain bands are playing, their tracks show up more when searching iTunes, etc...

Dunno.
Maybe to track people who jailbroke their iDevices?
I know that jailbreaking was declared legal, but still.....

Oh sweet mother of Jesus Christ....

honestly, was that necessary?

Anyways, if this is true, this isn't the first time I heard about iPhones doing something sneaky. There's an article on consumerist.com that apparently iPhones are taking random pictures or something like that. Here's the article:

Knowing apple, there was probably some fine print that basically said "We can track and record your location at all times" except it was probably written with confusing words in a way that most people wouldn't really get it even if they took the time to read it.

Really I hope they didn't have anything like that and they get the bejesus sued out of them.

Fun Fact: Steve Jobs and I have the same birthday

Android Tracks Users’ Locations, Too
http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheat-sheet/i...ot-just-apple/#

It’s not just iPhones that have been tracking your every move: Google’s Android smartphones have also been transmitting users’ locations and sending the results back to headquarters. Both Apple and Google are reportedly trying to build a massive database to pinpoint customer’s locations via their cellphones—raising concerns about privacy. Analysts say these databases could help both Apple and Google tap into the $2.9 billion market for location-based services—an amount that is expected to rise to $8.3 billion in 2014. Google was collecting similar Wi-Fi data for its StreetView cars that map and photograph streets, but the company was forced to shut down StreetView after accidentally collecting email addresses, passwords, and other personal data from the Wi-Fi networks.[/p]

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
