Hey Guys,

I just read the following two posts:
If all you want is to remove sig checks, you don't need rednand. Legit tickets can be installed and the games can be run without issue from sysnand. Illegitimate tickets and DLC also do not require rednand, just just require iosuhax. Titles installed with hacked tickets will simply not boot until you run iosuhax, then they will work just fine. I haven't tested DLC yet but I'm about to
As long as you're sure the title isn't a system title, you won't brick. And you need to install with iosuhax using wupserver's install_title command

I created a Unity Test Project with a legit Ticket (retail commonkey, not dev commonkey).
So if I install this Game on my SysNAND, it wouldn't brick the console, am I right? o.o

Can someone confirm this?
Would cause the Install of a non-system title (which is not available through NUS or WUD) a brick? I just created a Game with UnityForWiiU and compiled it with retail-commonkey instead of the dev-commonkey.

I would try it on emunand before anything else.

I was under the impression that the game will just fail to launch if not in sigpatched environment. I do not see why the app would brick the system menu.

Precisely.
I might be wrong, but I think the Wii U Menu is much better than the Wii Menu at handling corrupted banners. I believe it just shows a ? mark instead.
But I mean, seriously, you have to actually try to corrupt TGA images using standard software.

Well, how sysConfigTool bricks the Wii U on sysNAND then?
It is considered a system title. (I think) That or everyone are too scared to install it to sysnand because they don't want a brick.

Likely the second.

it made my RedNAND unloadable twice.
I won't install it on SysNAND
But did installing brick it?
Only the settings bricked it.

As for your question it should be 100% safe. Just install it to usb.

It didn't bricked because of installation.
It bricked after I checked some options there and the other time it bricked after i hardreseted my WiiU.

Hard resetting the Wii U probably bricked from the unstable state RedNAND is right now. I doubt installing it to SysNAND would brick the Wii U. Using it for out of region game launching should be fine, which is what I want to use it for on SysNAND.

If you think it doesn't brick your SysNAND, go ahead. I'm too scared to try it, tbh xD
If it works, show us a video that shows that it works :3

I checked the system.xml and I wonder what this would do:
Code:
  <dev_mode type="unsignedInt" length="4">0</dev_mode>
