The XGflash website has been down a long time now. I can't find the software on any websites at all. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for the software and drivers for the XG Flash 2 Turbo cart. Not the original XG FLash.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just before I passed out for the evening I stumbled upon http://www.gbadev.org/tools.php?showinfo=179 might do it although I am not sure.

Old post.
Assuming your battery still works (I know you can swap them) then http://dl.qj.net/nintendo-ds/hacks-exploit...er-kit-v11.html might just work (early neo kit was old rebadged XG stuff which went some way to establishing their rep)- amusingly though if memory serves people were often directed to XG stuff for their GBA neoflash needs (although GBATA and flash advance toolkit can make up for a few things).

You are right though I can not find anything- even my old standby sites can not coming up with anything other than a few old installation guides.

http://filetrip.net/f246-XGFlash-Driver-and-Software-2.html might have something but I doubt it (it looks to be original).

Likewise the "GBA Magic USB" if that helps is also a clone of sorts although software might not work.

Unfortunately those programs are for the original XG Flash. I found those in my search and eagerly installed them only to find that they dont' work with the XGFlash 2 Turbo.

I found some posts on other forums saying that these should work too (mostly on the neoflash website where people go after purchasing XGFlash product from ic2005 and realizing that the software is nowhere to be found). I tried it an no dice; the drivers are not the same and refuse to install. I appreciate your help though.

It looks like all I can hope for is some other XG Flash 2 turbo user having the software and being nice enough to upload it to filetrip or something.

If this thread has taught me anything, it's that I should probably upload all the old GB\GBA flashing programs I have so this doesn't happen to someone else.

As far as I can tell, the program is called "XG2Link". There are plenty of installation guides that tell you this, but none that have hosted the files.

EDIT: Whoops. Looks like we found the same thing (although what you have there is the file for a newer cart), I didn't check back here until after I posted. Thanks for your help though, MBmax.

Original post: Holy crap! The internet archive is amazing!!

It was a long shot (I thought they only archived webpages and didn't bother with pictures and files) and it worked!

For anyone who is looking for the software in the future you can find it here. I will be uploading it to filetrip as well.

If this is for my benefit, let me know how it tests out. ^^ (Please post it in my WTB thread, as I may or may not be able to find this again. :-P
Indeed it is! Initial reports are good; I was able to backup some ROMs successfully. I'll try to re-burn some ROMs onto the cart this afternoon and I'll report my findings on the WTB board.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?

although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
