Immortals of Aveum, the upcoming first-person magic shooter from developer Ascendant Studios and publisher EA, is launching in less than a month. To anticipate its release, a new 3-minute cinematic trailer was aired during San Diego Comic-Con.

In addition to the trailer, an official blog post interviewing Michael Kirkbride (of The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and The Walking Dead fame), who worked on the game's narrative, was released.

Immortals of Aveum launches on August 22 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store). Pre-orders are now open for the game.

The “shooting” reminds me of the Harry Potter games that were pretty much just a third person shooter. Looks cool though
