Windows 7 is far better, don't even bother dual booting with Vista.

If you were going to dual-boot, it should be with something worthwhile, like Linux (Ubuntu, perhaps), or OSX (hackintosh!).

    Just get Win 7.
There's no reason whatsoever to duel boot with Vista, Win 7 is basically Vista: Good edition.
Win 7 Pro has XP compatibility mode, to seemlessly run XP apps, and all Vista drivers work perfectly.

Well, I never had a beef with Vista myself, but then every agrees, Win 7 is better.

    Definitely 7!
I just got a new laptop with 7 and it's amazing.

Don't even bother with Vista...complete flop.

I triple boot xp, vista, and 7. 7 is a bitch because my drives don't work well with it.

Stick with Vista, and add widgets and themes to make it seem like 7.

If you always think about running Vista again, use VirtualBox if your computer can take it

Just stick to 7. Vista and 7 are pretty similar anyway. Windows 7 runs on the Vista kernel, it's just slightly tweaked.
