you can share an NTFS drive between Linux and Windows, but gaming directly from NTFS on Linux is unreliable. For dual-boot setups, NTFS works cross-platform, though performance and permission issues may arise.

yea i have my partition corrupt itself a bit anytime i have a crash i can run disk utility or ntfschk to fix it but the problem often messes up my games in ways i dont even realize it has like all the text in my game not working until i reformatted my drive and reinstalled it, not even steams file check fixed it (or uninstalling and reinstalling the game) still no idea what that was about, it would also sometimes crash my whole system, maybe im unlucky, hoping the new in-kernel ntfs driver brings good things with 7.1
