djtaz YOU ARE THE MAN my good friend that has done the trick again im sorry if i came over as though i was takin the piss wasnt intended at all the level of my understanding is very low at the moment but im learning so the problem was the boot dol was to old was it?

yeah - you were using version 8 which doesnt work with 3.4 - i think version 9 works ok , but once you get the new version you should be fine.
My guide has most of the files you'll need to do this , but id have confused you even more by pointing you to that in my signature
