Hacking Im having real problems with EZ 3 in 1

Hi , im having real problems with 3 in 1 on a ds lite , i have a dstt but cant seem to get the gba emulator to work
Im new to all this so im not sure if im doing anything wrong
Iv tried using the gba exploader as i read that this is the only one that works with the new 3 in 1 but whenever i try to run it my screen always freezes
Any help will be veeerrrryyyy much appriciated
