As o3ds doesn't render the game in 3d theoretically it only has to process a 400x240 image, so the load shouldn't differ between 3ds/2ds to any noticeable degree.

I suppose that'd make sense.. But I still think the difference between the two system is noticeable.

To be honest, it looks awful on both consoles.
That's a refreshing opinion.
I have to admit it's a bit disappointing seeing what looks to be frame drops in the video even in the n3ds version, I had hoped it'd be running perfectly framelocked without 3d on.

Wasn't going to get the game, anyway *wink wink*
Still, I find these kind of games to get... boring and repetitive really fast.
I've played Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes co-op with my friend. After two or three levels,
we would get bored and switch to something else. We finished only one campaign.
Even thinking about re-doing the whole game with all the others characters... Ugh.

And don't forget about that the number of enemys decreasing, the "lower" you go.

Wii U - > N3DS - > O3DS
That's the only thing who bothers me (I noticed it on a video when everyone was just crying about the missing pictures per second.). Does it change the game a lot?

Thinking about that many missions are about killing a certain amount of enemys in a certain time, it makes me wonder how difficult they will become.

I don't think they changed anything regarding the missions themselves.

What I mean is: the concept of this kind of beat'em all is build around the fact it overwhelms the players with swarms of ennemies, no?
So, is the population of simultaneous ennemies reduced enough to change the difficulty of the game for example (the way you experience it)?

On the O3DS? I would say yes.

I've been playing it and yes, the framerate does drop on my 2ds and it is noticeable, but the game is playable and enjoyable. You can't expect PC level gameplay out of an handheld

Played the o3ds version and honestly wasn't expecting anything more from it considering it's a DS... It's a consistent enough frame-rate that it's still very playable anyway so whatever.

I have it on O3ds. though it does look less smooth than on N3ds it's still very playable. The dropped framerates don't hinder gameplay THAT much(IMO at least),not to the point where it becomes unplayable. If you want it to look smoother get N3ds.If you don't care play it on O3DS it's really not that big a deal

everyone whined when they announced n3ds and n3ds exclusive games.
companies reacted to never make any new n3ds exclusive games. except mcmillen who couldn't optimize his stuff if his life depended on it.
you get all your games but with low framerates.
thats just how it is. literally dont expect a 3d game with lots of enemies to be 60 or even 30 frames constantly. dont kid yourself

Again, I REALLY don't understand what you're trying to get at in regards to timed missions. Playing the game is no more difficult on o3ds and 2ds models than it is on a n3ds.

See:
Are you trying to imply the game engine is tied to the framerate in such a way that the entire game speed slows down when the framerate decreases?
I really don't think this is the case as I haven't noticed instances of slow motion when playing thus far.

Also regarding:
[So, is the population of simultaneous ennemies reduced enough to change the difficulty of the game for example (the way you experience it)?]
On the O3DS? I would say yes.
And I would say you are pulling that out of your ass.
I have seen nothing to indicate this is in any way true.

Can confirm, I'm playing on the O3DS and while it isn't *HORRIBLE* .. It's still.. A really big framerate hit. Sometimes it 'kinda annoys me the game's so slow but the game's overall very fun :)

what do you mean? isn't the 2ds exact same hardware as an o3DS?
The o3ds has a 3d top screen using irregular pixels at a 800x240 resolution. The 2ds top screen isn't 3d, hell it's part of the bottom screen if you want to be technical.
