Well, I can also find Cooking Mama cart and update to 9.2, but I don't know if I actually need this. Also it's plaisysupdater which soft-bricked my New 3DS.

If you've used sysupdater and wanted to downgrade your New 3DS in order to get A9LH I suppose that you've watched a video tutorial and haven't checked out Plailect's guide. These tutorials cause more trouble than they help.

Anyway, no, Luma will work fine, but moving to ARM9LoaderHax is still recommended.

It was plaisysupdater, I used Plailect's guide.

That's not an issue with the updater itself. I'm betting you didn't format before downgrading.

I don't want to lose my data and I am too acustomed to the good tools from PSP days when downgrading was extremely safe.
