Vacation - I really want to take a long tour starting at Pompeii, up through Rome, to Ravenna, Venice, Split (Diocletian's Palace), Dubrovnik, Sofia and Plovdiv, and finally Istanbul.

To live - would depend on how much money I have. Being poor in a wealthy place sucks. However I wouldn't mind retiring in Kagoshima, Japan. Have been there a couple times and really like the atmosphere of that town.

If I could bring other specific people (2-3-4-5-6 friends from various parts of Italy, probably not all at once) I would take them on a tour of Japan (I've already been in the Kyoto/Osaka/Tokyo triangle 2 weeks two years ago)

If it was for me, I would obviously need to set feet in the 3 continents I'm missing (south america, africa, oceania) at the very least!

Happiest place on Earth, which is apparently Finland. Don't know much about it, so it will also be a big learning experience. Maybe visit or live temporarily. I'll be too homesick no matter where I would go.

Anything inside the Arctic and Antarctic circles. Parts of Norway, Sweden, so on. I just wanna see and play about in real snow before I get too old. And of course tokyo, the city that's more city than any other city.

I also vote for Japan. Never been there (in fact, never been outside Europe), but I just want to visit it in my life. Main problem is that I don't want to go alone and my girlfriend isn't into more adventurous vacations (I pass if it's just to sit on the hotel's swimming pool).

If it's with friends or colleagues: skiing in...erm...any place that has good snow and good weather (been to North Italy and Austria, and both were AMAZINGLY fun).

I've generally been intrigued by the stories of Akihabara - it may not be what it used to be any more, but I'd like to take a quick peek at it some time. I can't see myself spending any significant amount of time in the area though - I much prefer nature over cities
