#1 reason to stay away from clones right there.dudeonline said:Also, people get bent out of shape when they ask for support with their AKR4 Platinum Ultra card, and no one knows how the hell to fix it because everyone else knows to stay away from clones.

I have DSTT clones that work perfectly fine. I actually prefer these clones over the originals because I like the SD card slot being on the side.
Domdel, have you even tried to use the cards? Do you even have them yet?
I think you are worrying for no good reason. The NDSTTi Gold is just a DSTTi clone; it can run any unofficial kernel and even YSMenu.
The R4i Gold is most likely an acekard clone, though they have done a good job of covering their tracks in the file data. You are probably stuck using the kernel from r4igold.com. It should still work fine for most games though. You might be able to run YSMenu on it as an .nds file, though it might take a bit of effort.

you sir, are an idiot
the MAIN use of these flashcarts are to pirate games, so buying ANY flashcart is like supporting people that sell burned dvd movies in the supermarket parking lot.
you complain because your pirating device got pirated!

I am sure you have never owned a DSTT so you have nothing to say on this.
The truth is: its REALLY REALLY hard to tell a real DSTT from a clone. They are just the same!!!!!
You can come and tell people to buy acekard all you want but:
DSTTs are really nice cards with simple gui and good compatibility (thanks to scene unofficial firmware fixers).
So ill say it myself too: Go buy acekards
but if you got already a DSTT your ok too!
