That's my thought. I am bored about waiting for homebrew, and nintendo won't see a buck mine until appears homebrew in any way, physical or with softmod. And if vita has homebrew sooner, then I will buy vita instead. They think they will sell hundreds of games in this way... well, be sure I won't take the risk of pay 50 € for a game that becomes boring after a day of playing.

Yeah, this thread has no sense but at least it is not about a great fantastic undiscovered idea about hacking 3ds.

I think you should change the word "homebrew" in all of this to "ability to play ROMS", because let's face it, that's what it really is.

We sure didn't need another thread like this again...

The excuse of "homebrew leads to more game sales" was because those other systems didn't have demos, so people downloaded the full game, tried it out, and then made a decision on whether to purchase them. It was the alternative to renting. With devices now, demos are becoming available, so the excuse to need homebrew for that isn't valid.

Hack it yourself, you can't bitch about the 3DS unless you pony up the cold stinkin' cash and buy one

You got the shortest attention span ever. Heck, Steel Diver kept my interest for a whole week, and that was a pretty boring game.
It seems like you won't but anything until it gets hacked and it can play ROMS. Don't lie.
Also, what impact is a person like you gonna put onto Nintendo?
One snot-nosed kid who is too much of a butt to buy a console to support their company isn't going to affect Nintendo at all. Heck, they'll be glad you never laid your hands on their products.

So you're not getting the system till you can pirate games for it? Hypocrisy much?

I know homebrew sometimes allows piracy, but you're really mistaking homebrew with piracy if you're waiting for a way to pirate games on the 3DS.

I agree, you don't want a homebrew application, you want to play 3DS Roms :P
Anyway, talking about PS Vita, I think is not a bad handled, but I rather buy a PS3, I know is not a handled, but it has almost the same games, and it may follow the same path of the PSP, getting the same home console games, so That's why a Ps3 would be my choice.
