I did once go up a mountain in a cable car when already in a high place (and on no sleep and no food). Apparently I am hard to catch.

I was rather far and rather deaf even then, and it was not running with a purpose.
Mostly seemed to be running for the joy of running. Never a concept I have understood myself but to each their own, and if all you had was a scree slope on a mountain for entertainment I guess you make do.
