Why do people find Final Fantasy games so funny?

Well, excuse me, but I am smarter than that, and I need action.
I need to punch and kick other sprites, shoot spaceships, find patterns, jump in platforms, drift to win races, slash my sword to cut grass, decor my fake home and help animals with tedious tasks, arrange geometrical shapes to make them disappear, match 3 or more of the same color and make points for a score that only I care for, keep my combos going, save princesses, kill demons and europeans with my sniper skills, and bang ur mom.

I'm not dumb, and I'm not like:
"And then the pirate attacked but pirate has +5 points in armor and you need to grind more XP killing 1000 more beasts to gain 1XP"
"Oh, you missed your attack"
"Oh I can name my character with just 4 characters"
"Oooh oooh oooh!"
"So much fun ooh ooh ooh"
"Ooh Magic, Attack, Defend or Run. Ooh ooh ooh"
"Ooh ooh, look my Pokemon is evolving. Ooh ooh ooh"

I never played one, all i know about it is that it is a video game franchise
Since it's a franchise, meaning it is multiple games, sequel, prequel, spin off, etc, I'm pretty sure there are lot of people playing it
Which means they have fun with them

The SNES and PS1 games are the best of the series for sure, modern games just got full of themselves afterwards and got stale.
To answer the question, as long as you steer away from the 3 original NES-Famicom Final Fantasy games the later ones are by far a much better experience, as long as you pretend the games released after 2006 never existed.
