Hello everyone, I will start by saying that the thing I'm going to ask for might be too much, so I understand if no one shows up to help.

So basically what I want is to be able to play my save file of a 3ds game (the game is "Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stones Thunderflash" EUR in case you were wondering) on Citra, but obviously .SAV files won't work there, so I checked out multiple guides and they are all very easy to follow (https://gbatemp.net/threads/importing-gateway-saves-to-cia-games.425743/), but I seem to be unlucky evrey time I try to mess with this type of things.

To put it simple, the game I'm talking about is on a flashcard (Gateway 3ds), and my SD card has no more space for 3GB games so I guess that installing a CIA is not really possible here. The plan here was to extract the save data from the game using JK Save Manager , but since the my game is not a "Card2" game, I must install the CIA for that game before I can extract the save file, but as I said I don't have the space on my SD card to do so.

At this point 2 solutions come to mind:

1- I buy a larger SD card and install the CIA (not really the best option because I'm as cheap as one can get)

2- I share here my .SAV file (which was on the root of my SD card) and someone with a good soul does me this huge favour and converts it on their own console, and then send the same save file here or as a private message.

The link to download the .SAV file is this one: https://mega.nz/file/YFlgxCDA#AUDF0YAFcDgyKT_1XTSQJ_igmqe9_08-UgrmLF-lZ5c

Again, I completely understand the absurdity of this request, but this was my last option so I had to at least try. Thank you for reading until here!

You don't need to install any CIA and in fact it wouldn't help to do so. You simply need to check the title ID of the save manager you are using and copy/rename the .sav for the game to match that title ID, which will cause GW to load that save "onto the cart" in a sense when you run the save manager.

Due to a quirk in how GW handles saves, whenever you launch any title, even an installed CIA, it makes a .sav for that title ID, the save manager also gets its own .sav. The sav is loaded any time you launch a title and not when a .3ds game is mounted. So when you try to extract a card1 save all it sees is the .sav that was auto created for the save manager but only contains blank data. Overwriting that file with the save you want to extract and mounting the corresponding game works around that issue.

Thank you a lot for the answer!

Your procedure seems simple and interesting, I just want to clear a doubt. Do I rename the .sav file created by the save manager INTO the .sav file with the game ID, or the other way around? I just want to make sure I don't mess up with any data.

But again, thank you!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

In more detail:

Since the title ID for my save manager is "0004000002C23200" and the 3ds game has "0004000000136D00", which one should I edit?

Other way around. 0004000000136D00 -> 0004000002C23200

Wow I really did it... thank you so much for helping me, I spent days looking for a solution and went through hundreds of different paths without any success, but you arrived here and with just a couple words you solved every problem I had. I can't thank you enough, really.
