Is there a way for me to place a facebook page like button in my signature,
so that when someone likes it they like the page on facebook?
(I know there is a way to do it in your own website using script but can I do it in this site in my signature and if so how?)

With the like button there it would be much more simple. so all you would have to do is click like.
Either way they would click it because they like it themselves, so I don't understand the underlined part

Because it's so much harder for people to simply open a page, see what it is, and click the "Like" button.

wow the need for acceptance smacks me in the face. Just be who you are and that should be enough. You don't need a like button. You just need to be liked. Two different things.

By and by I don't have a facebook page and cannot be bothered to hit a "like" button for everything I like. (too much of a pain to do).
