Homebrew HzMod - old3DS screen streaming

The way you use the HIMEM launcher is, you launch it from Home Menu, and it kicks you back to Home Menu (on old versions you have to press HOME on the black screen). You click on a game, and click Yes to close the HIMEM launcher. Then the game will launch, and so will HzMod.

If you just close the launcher, the 3DS will just reboot back to normal mode.

I try to launch my game but after that the blue LED light turns off.

Ok, I booted into Pokemon X with the launcher on,
and HorizonScreen shows the screen until the game loads.
After that, the console spits the 10061 error.

Both of you please upload HzLog.log from SDCard without starting HzMod. Just so it doesn't get overwritten.

That's weird... so it hangs after disconnecting.

What color does the LED turn into? Does it still flash when pressing a button?

WAIT!

Are you both on new3DS? On new3DS you shouldn't use the HIMEM launcher, since it doesn't work. On new3DS you need to use the regular launcher for all games.

I tested a little bit with the HzMod.
Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS works well with HIMEM Launcher.
Animal Crossng: New Leaf, Super Mario Bros. 2, Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Pokemon X didn't work.
And, the console contained the 10054 error when running Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

ACNL and NSMB2 definitely require the normal launcher, they are not APPMEMTYPE3 games.

10054 means that HzMod died because it or its networking was killed unexpectedly.

Where can I get the list of extended memory games?
And, Pokemon X works fine with the original launcher.

I don't know, I think the only place I knew had it, but it's defunct now. You can detect a game is not using a normal mode, because it reboots into high memory mode. Almost all of those are MODE3.

Well this is weird... are you using the same HorizonScreen and HzMod combo which came in the same package? Different versions are not compatible with eachother.

Also try SnickerStream, it's known to be better than HorizonScreen.

Edit: I'm stupid and forgot that the LED goes off... I have absolutely no idea how it could keep disconnecting AND the LED going off... does the LED flash when you press a button? After it flashes, it stays off?

Haven't tried that yet, though something else that happens is when I connect using HorizonScreen while my game is still loading, it seems like the game freezes until I disconnect from HorizonScreen, from there, the game loads up normally.

That's quite "normal" for old3DS. You MUST disconnect HzMod when transitioning between Home Menu and the game.

Whappens if you just open HzMod and don't try to connect?

- The LED should stay always on, either light blue (has internet), or yellow (no internet, or StreetPass mode)
- The LED should blink red and turn back to the previous color when you press a key
- The LED should turn deep blue and then off when you hold START + SELECT

As @Darkdaroach said, when I load the game after starting HzMod, it just turns off HzMod.
No response when I press a button.
