You know, I'm generally curious on what he discovered. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough. I'm just curious if its a hidden capability the Wii U has, but who knows really lol.

This and consider the price of a Wii U too, it's like upgrade from 2DS to O3DS (Wii U more powerful = O3DS 3D mode. Not litterally thway Nintendo release 2DS after O3DS) = not worth an upgrade. While N3DS release is similar to Wii U release, what makes N3DS has much more success is N3DS price is pretty much the same as original retail price of O3DS XL, while Wii U retail price is almost double of the Wii original retail price if am not mistaken.

So when N3DS's released, O3DS is getting old, the price is reasonable for an upgraded new 3DS. Wii is still going strong when Wii U released while Wii U is overpriced and doesn't offer as much. Come on, Nintendo, who would buy a Wii U at that time for few games while one can upgrade their PC or buy Sony or Microsoft console to have so many different games in the library to play.

Back to topic, can anyone explain why IOSU gives more access to Wii U than kexploit? Sorry if this is already discussed, but I missed it.

Gotcha! Sorry, I just wanted to annoy everybody a little. I believe it's fair after being called everything around here. "Clown" and "king of vapourware" were top notch, congrats on the insults!
For all the others, rest assured, I'm not rage-quitting nor stopping anything. I ran into personal issues that kept me away from the internet, that's all. You'll still get your exploit as promised. I'm not wasting more time on the possible boot exploit as I've decided to chase that only after releasing what I have. I'm currently working on obfuscating it for which naehrwert gave me some "funky" ideas. It will take some time to implement, but my "vacations" have been extended up to the end of February.

Well a kernel exploit gives access to everything that loads on top of the kernel as well since you can likely interrupt and redirect systems calls.

Well a kernel exploit gives access to everything that loads on top of the kernel as well since you can likely interrupt and redirect systems calls.

"Aside from all that, the exploit just needs obfuscation to be released. Like I stated before, the obfuscation layers will be complex which will take time to implement properly. If any delays follow, they will be strictly related to the obfuscation of the exploit.
Also, I mentioned that my "vacations" are extended to the end of February, but that doesn't mean the exploit will only be released by then. I'm guessing it will be done quite before that, but right now it's just a matter of getting it right so Nintendo won't patch it as soon as it comes out."
