I don't know if this was a problem for anyone else but it was VERY confusing for me so I will make a simple Guide.

1. Download MiniTool Partition Wizard, install it
2. Plug in your SDXC into the computer
3. Choose your card (BE VERY CAREFUL YOU PICK THE RIGHT ONE!) and delete its partition
4. Create a new partition in the unallocated space "Create As: Primary", "File Sytem: FAT32", and "Cluster Size: 32kb" (Make sure your drive has a letter name)
5. Hit ok, then apply in the top left
6. Test it in your 3ds
7. Make sure to transfer your data if you haven't already

ok seem i forgot that i need to setup emunand on the new card before i can inject the bin file ,guess i just put the launcher dat on the new card boot my N3ds with my CN and setup emunand then use emunand tool to inject the 9.5 emunand backup.bin

Using partitioning tool is more complicated imo. I think I just used an program called SD formatter/one of those sd cards formatters t HP or any other brand to format my 64 gb SDXC. It's just plug it in your sd cardreader & then format to fat32 with 1 those programs. It's also easier, since there's no need to partition them & assign a drive letter, that way it's just like a normal sd card format!

About the speed I didn't notice it being slow at all, I think the 3ds just treat it the same way as an micro/SD card anyways! I think the same goes for a 128gb card.

yeah now i cant figure out how to use emunand tool i have not used it in so long, there is no way to select my emunnd bin i want to inject it just keeps saying to insert a sd with an emunand, thats not what i want to do i want to use a emunand.bin i have from my 9.5 emunand i created a while ago that is on my HDD to inject it intot he newly formatted 64 gig card or can i not do that?

For use with emunand you just need to format the card afterwards again with emunand9/ decrypt9/ gw launcher to inject your emunand backup, since emunand uses a special partition!

Edit: I saw too late you realized your mistake, but I put anyways so other newbies won't make the same mistake!

Yes, it will, and runs portable without setup. It's also what I use in my guide.

Emunand9 did the trick for me without any additional tools. This seems to complicate things a little.

Try that with a card above 32gb and you will understand why there is indeed a need for a special program.

I know this is late ( 5 years later lol) but thank you the only guides i found was with guiformat and it didnt work for me and i actually found this app my self but didnt know how to use it but it worked with your help so thanks!
