Hacking How to update N3DS from 9.0 to 9.2

Hi, is it at all possible to update a new 3ds xl from 9.0 to 9.2 so I can do a system transfer from my old 3ds running 9.2? I'd just like to transfer all of my saves and games so I can still sell the old one running 9.2 to get a better price.

@Ronhero has a post in the tutorial section about how to system transfer from an old 3DS to a new 3DS. Not sure if you can transfer on sysNAND or if you are required to do it emuNAND to emuNAND.

you can. update the 3DS with a cart, then run FMP and do the system transfer. simple as that.
