Just bought a second-hand psp 1000, and I really want to update it on the new CFW, but I always get the error "The System configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be started. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFD7)". I've tried downgrading my firmware to 1.50 and I can update it to 3.03 but when I tried to update it to 6.60, it just shows the error. If someone knows how to fix it please help me :<

Does anyone know how to downgrade a psp version 3.03 without using the umd for gta lcs.

Need to downgrade my psp back to 1.50 so that I could update it to the latest version for some reason.

Update to 5.x first, alternatively do a complete system reset then try to update.

Edit: Or take a look at this thread, several options are mentioned:https://gbatemp.net/threads/my-psp2...nt-updated-or-turned-it-on-since-2013.523244/

Yeah but the problem is I can't update it, it always shows error code DRNFFFFFFD7

Maybe this will help:

Look at the back of the box, it says 200 not 2000. Dunno why Sony decided to add a zero later but whatever.

And I found a way to update to 6.20 and then to 6.20 custom firmware, yay!

Basically it needs Windows, a PC, the USB cable and a text editor like metapad. And access to the flash0 of the PSP.

Edit:

Steps
  1. Power on your PSP.
  2. Click the 'SELECT' button.
  3. Go to the USB Device. Change the Memory Stick to flash 0.
  4. Connect your PSP to your computer (On windows). Click VSH and click the version which is a text file. The version in the text will be 9.90. Change it to 5.50 and save it.
  5. Enjoy updating your PSP and add awesome games.
