    I plan on having SXOS, Atmosphere and Ubuntu on the switch while leaving SysNAND alone for online play. Did you figure out how to manually install the Ubuntu partition?

    It sounds like its doable. I'll play with this some and let you know what I did. It sounds like we need to create a 3rd Ex4 Partition that lies before the EmuNand partition.

    Yeah and pull out the linux files from the L4T img file.
    Great that you go ahead as I won't find the time for this until saturday evening. :)
    I'll start creating an emuEMMC while I'm at work today though :)

    Just in case anybody needs this again (as shared here already multiple times):
    Code:
    [emummc]
    enabled = 1
    sector = 0x2
    nintendo_path = Emutendo

    That's the content of sd:\emummc\emummc.ini so hekate/Atmo can use SX OS's created emuNAND.

    I forgot to do this step when creating emunand
    delete my WiFi connections and go into Airplane mode
    Can I just do it again starting from here or do I start all over?
    and what would be the fallout from not doing this step?

    I'm thinking of changing my current Atmosphere setup to one with emuMMC, and my NAND backup from a year ago is the system's original 4.1.0 firmware. If I revert to that (assuming I didn't accidentally burn any fuses since I never did an update without ChoixDuJour), should I update it through Nintendo before starting the emuMMC installation process? The only data worth saving are two game saves I can get out with Checkpoint.

    I came from Kosmos and I create emunand from my current sysnand (dirty). Can I share nintendo folder for both? Or I need to create a different nintendo folder? Also if I restore my previous clean nand backup?

    It doesn't make sense to share the folder.
    Think of it like a drive D:\ that you have on a PC.
    Imagine that you have two different Windows 10 on your computer, both can access D:\
    Now you install game X in Windows 1 to D:\Games\
    Then you install game Y in Windows 2 to D:\Games\
    Both are in the same folder but X is only launchable from Windows 1 and Y only from 2 (unless they are portable games without the need for a registry key lol).
    Keep it separate.
    If you install a new game in your sysNAND, it gets installed into the Nintendo folder.
    However that game is not available in your emuNAND and vice versa.
    Create a separate folder like Emutendo or something like this and use the emummc.ini in SD:\emuMMC\ to point to it.

    Thank you! So it's better to copy my current nintendo folder to emummc/RAW1/Nintendo and after delete everythings from the original one for a clean sysnand?

    I don't know how you created your emuNAND but yeah, since you created one, the Nintendo folder is the one belonging to your emuNAND now so either rename or move it around on the card and put the patch in the .ini as I told you. :)
    The sysNAND will create itself a new Nintendo folder upon boot.

    urgh. Okay got my emummc combined. Now this line is giving me grief.

    dd if=<path to completeemummc.bin> of=/dev/r<your drive, disk2 for example> bs=2m conv=noerror,notrunc

    Getting:

    noerror
    notrunc

    Then nothing. I really dislike dd. It makes pointing to directories a pain in the ass.

    How can I inject this completeemummc.bin into my hidden parition properly? Please someone just lay it out straight for me. I really want to be done with this aggravating shit.

    Hey so I have a quick question, so I have SX OS emuNAND setup as hidden partition. I use Sysnand for online and SX OS emuNAND for modding purposes. In this tutorial of copy files section, does this allow you to boot either CFW atmosphere, or SX OS in emuNAND? I am confused how this works. Do I now inject atmosphere when I want to use that, and boot SX OS when I want to use that for emuNAND? If so how do I make sure this doesn’t boot into my Sysnand? And do all my files from emuNAND stay on both?

    Just create an empty text file and name it emummc.ini
    Then paste what you need for your setup.
