Homebrew How to save in Yu Gi Oh World Championship 2010

Hi all, i'm new here and didnt play yu gi oh game before.
currently i downloaded yugioh rom somewhere else and use no$gba 2.6a play yugioh world championship 2010.
the game runs smoothly and no crash/freeze issue so far i played.
but somehow i cannnot save in storymode. there is no option of choosing save game while i want to quit.
everytime i quit, the storymode start from the very beginning.
please help on this...

if i remember correctly, there's a save box thing somewhat later on through the story.

There are savepoints that look like blue-greenish floating diamonds and you save there. Also if u go into championship mode and make a deck or do anything like go to the shop it saves the game... idk if it saves the story mode but it saves w/e u did in championship that much im sure
