sorry, i haven't read the entire thread .

what should I do to edit a CSM? I want to put my Custom health screen into the Blackplayboy CSM( 42.app file)

do i have to extract files from 42.app with u8tool, and edit the health screen?

then repack it?

or am i totally wrong?

I mod Wii's for many different parents, I always install preloader for safety reasons, but the kids keep reformatting and/or updating the firmware, my question is... now that we can mod the system menu is it possible to take away the option to update and/or reformat? I know about the skip disc update hack, but is there a way to change the blyt or something like that to make this possible?

the top of menu is from the matrix layout. just open the my ipltop a berlyt and change the correct lines. i used the matrix for a template.

no i dont think there is a way. the brlyts have nothing to do with the update thing. the brlyts only manage the tpls and tell them what to do. if you were going to skip the update stuff, it would most likely be in a place far away.

but they havent told us on the forums how to do it.
i think you have to open up a blyrt...
im not certain on the details.

It's weird editing these the blyrt files are very complicated if you know what to do with them I know somewhat but I still get confused .Just wait till Jizmo releases a tut on it.

There is 1 way. Semi-bricking your wii to were it can not acess the settings

The ash file you want is the ChanSel.ash
The two files you need to edit is my_TVSheet_b.tpl and my_TVSpe_a.tpl
