Hacking How to install Nintendo Channel without using Shop channel?

Hi everyone,

My Wii Shop does not work. I want to install the Nintendo Channel so that I can access to Nintendo DS demos, bonus, etc.

Does anyone knows how to install the Nintendo Channel? Where can I get the necessary WAD files?

update to 4.1 using waninkoko's upgrader.

You do not need to update to 4.1 simply go here and download this
http://junks.tonatonari.info/wiiapps/InstallShopIOS51.zip
And install the Updated shop channel and IOS 51

Then you need to go and download this
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii_Shop_IOS60-61_and_Mii_installer
And install the IOS 60 , IOS 61 and Shop Channel.

Thanks. I also want to ask, is there a Japanese version of this channel? Can I install both the USA and Japanese versions at the same time?

Only the second installer needs to be run; no need to run them both. (There's also no need to install IOS60, too; that's for System Menu 4.0 and 4.1.)

The Wii Shop Channel is region-free, meaning the same channel is used on every non-Korean Wii. It checks your Wii's region, language, etc. and displays things accordingly.
