I downloaded the beta 1 of bootmii but I dont know how to install the .elf file.
I read that I have to rename it to boot.elf but the HBC does not see this file?

Did you put the boot.elf in a folder and put that folder into the apps folder on your SD card?

*facepalm* You're having problems running a wii executable.. Bushing suggested on his post about bootmii beta that if you haven't followed hackmii for a long time and know what you're doing, you shouldn't install this first beta. And that's what I'll suggest also.

have a folder calls "apps"on your sd card. Then put a folder called "bootmii" in the apps folder. Finally put the boot.elf in the bootmii folder. Launch it from hbc the end.

Oh my god...
If you do not understand the basics, don't bootmii your console.
Too much power, for far too less knowledge

Start by reading Hackmii and once you know everything about HBC, boot2 and boot1, IOS's, how the SysMenu works, and the everything else, then you'll be able to install BootMii. For now, start reading or else you'll do a stupid mistake...

He's not going to code the shit. But I get your point.

I already installed a lot on the wii. But for the last month I had other things to do than playing with my wii

I just forgot how to install apps

Anyways...if you don't know how to run it, and even can't read the Read Me...I would suggest you leave it, read up on HackMii and HERE , and try it again..sorry, but here I won't help directly...you should always know what you're doing, at it doesn't look like you know what you're gonna do...

@thc420

I think you should learn how to read a post.

And it is very arrogant to call me a noob just because I forgot to create some folders an my SD. You must know I have a real life and dont spend every minute on hacking my wii .
And those information is not in the readme

(just to show you that I already read the readme)

Btw I think your caps lock is stuck

READ THE FUCKING README NOOB
Actually that was a bit uncalled for - this place is generally friendly helpful people.
If you dont have anything good to say then best to keep it to yourself.

@ djtaz
Thank you very much.

@Blue-K
Thank you for the links. One of the very few useful posts in this thread.

Why is everyone of the opinion that one is a noob just because he is leaving the scene fo a while. If you would look at my forum registration than you would see that I only have very few posts for the time being registered. That is just because I read a lot before I install and most time I find the answer in the forum. But in this case I didnt, therefor I ask.
