Good to hear, have fun getting streetpasses! If you want more per hour, just change the 0-59/6 to 0-59/3 and the 3-59/6 to 3-59/3 that gets you double the SPs.



That should work, have you reset factory defaults and set it up again? Works in some cases. Also, if that doesn't work, try the script in the post above yours.

I'm sure it is but do you confirm this firmware is for TP-LINK TL-WR740N version 4.* right ? It's not my router & dont want him to brick it...

As you can see in the name of the file, it is the right one for the TL-WR740N v4.

It should work, it is strange that it doesn't. You can also try older or newer versions, just check http://dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads?path=others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/ look for the folder tplink_tl-wr740nv4 and do not download versions below r18740 as they do not support the v4!

Just set this up on my Macbook Air using the MAIN mac address, worked great, connected to Nintendo Zone or whatever, green data came into my Mii Plaza! Was so excited.. went to gate to greet new Miis! Only to find that only a single new guy came. With all the chatter on this, I figured it would be 10 easy.

You only get one streetpass hit per mac address every 8hrs. If you want more streetpass hits within that time period you will need to cycle through the list of mac addresses.

Yah but can't a total of 10 guys come through with each hit? I must be doing something wrong.. I just cycled through like 10 different MACs, including all the Nintendo World NYC MACs and didn't receive a single other guy into Mii Plaza. It even shows the green StreetPass data animation in the top left corner. Could there really be NO Mii Plaza data in those?

The streetpass relay feature works by grabbing the streetpass data of the last person to visit the relay and uploads your streetpass data. Therefore each streetpass hit from each mac address is only one person.

Check to see that the mac address applied to your wireless hotspot is the same as the one you tried to spoof.

What can be the problem ?

This means script download was not complete.
Just go to http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database, get build 21061 for your router and use my script. "ifconfig hw ether" method won't work on your router on dd-wrt!

I have a Belkin F7D3302 v1 router running 21061 mega build dd-wrt. I have configured this as a wireless access point using attwifi and get streetpass hits when I manually change the MAC address. I do not understand how to use the scripts. I have placed Duke's script in the commands section but get the same error as the bloke above with the "not found" remark. I'd love to get the MACS to change automatically. Can anyone please help, bearing in mind that I have no knowledge of how to use scripts?

Still getting the not found error. What do you mean by consequently? Sorry to seem thick, languages graduate not up to speed with techy stuff, willing to learn but needing to be spoon fed info.
