My superior (manager) say its to interact more with people. Anything else? I understand the first step is always hard but you know..
What is the best way to build self confidence?
What is the best way to build self confidence?
Your manager wants you to build self confidence? What would make them say that? Most times I meet managers saying that it is because they want more slimy sales types, though it could be genuine.
Anyway do you view your self confidence as particularly low? What would you consider self confident traits to be and what do you consider any traits you have that would speak to a lack of self confidence?
Yeah this is a good one. It's only awkward if you make it awkward. Do everything with confidence, and no one will question it.You know how you have those moments of self doubt, things you think are flaws about yourself that might hold you back? Or those moments when you dwell on something embarrassing that you may have said or done in the past? Well, those things are out of your control, and giving any thought to them is waste of mental effort and only holds you back. So fuck it.
A friend of mine once told me you have to create an imaginary place in your mind, like a void, or as he called it, the fuck it box. Take the things you can't change or control and all the worry of other people's perceptions and put them in that box to never be touched again.
Might sound crazy, but I thought it was insightful.
I second this.play games with your mic on
I mean you could do this, and then you wouldn't need to do what anyone else said to, you'd be confident as fuck.Chug an entire bottle of jack before heading into work.
