Hacking How to add Akaio 1.8.1 to your Acekard2i

1. Download Akaio 1.8.1 http://filetrip.net/f21926-AKAIO-1-8-1.html

2. Extract Akaio 1.8.1 to your preferred folder.

3. Insert your micro SD card into your PC.

4. Delete the old firmware your card (do not delete your games/homebrew or other hacks you may have on your card, only the firmware)

5. Now drag and drop the extracted files/folders to your micro SD card. You should have _aio, akmenu4.nds, LoaderChanglog, readme_AKAIO.txt

6. Once the transfer is complete your Acekard2i should now be fully updated... now just safely remove the card and play the new games!

Put fixes in a spoiler.

4. Backup the "ui" folder within the _aio folder of your microSD card and then delete the "_aio" and akmenu4.nds.

5. Copy the new "_aio" folder and akmenu4.nds to your microSD and replace the "ui" folder with your backed up copy.

and I'd also say something about backing up saves everytime you put your microSD into your computer cause it's soooo annoying when you lose even a hour of gameplay.

1). Same way you added any other version of AKAIO to your Acekard2i
