You can have up to 12. You can choose them manually, or have it where it automatically changes every month. That's the way I have it. I generally change them after I see them all.

u don't, on the main menu (u know with the 3 icons), keep pressing select to scroll through all your themes. when u hit ur last one (im assuming ur 12th theme) press select again and the theme representing the month (ex. august=8, but u already know that, just pointing it out, sorry if i offended u) and that's there to it

I'd go for ndsthemes, r4dsskins offer only skin packs, if and you can't see any of them, it's like buying something you can't see, and that's less assuring
