I couldn't care less about post count.
In order to answer some question I would mainly care about:
  1. The question being clear and well written.
  2. Me having a clue about how to answer.
  3. The poster being somewhat respectful, not spamming the same question that was asked 100 times in the last ten minutes.
But it is true that if the post count is less than say 10, and the post looks fishy I would probably think it could be a spam bot or fake account just made for trolling.

There might be someone out there with God like knowledge and just isn't interested in posting anything... Just my 5c...

I'm only here cause someone voted very important and it wasn't me. :creep:

But no, is not important. I post a lot, over 8000 with in the 365 days i had joined, so big deal, i'm here a lot. I'm fine with that. This is a forum after all, discussion, mingle and socialization is normal to have such habits or high post count. Not like some scoring system or game with a winner or popularity contest, at your local high school or something.

There was times when i was young, going to school and how people would think perfect attendance was important, miss a few days is not a big deal, people get sick, go to hospital, see family, funerals other business things. One day off so often isn't bad, even though... high attendance students use to get those mcdonalds certificates to free meals. :P

Some of the dumbest things I've read on this site came from people with a high post count.
The only thing post count does is gauge how often someone feels the need to share their opinion.

Not everyone is sharing opinions, they also help people with reliable information. :)

If anybody takes anything I say seriously then they have gone very wrong somewhere.

As others said reasonable approach to spelling and grammar, sense of humour, evident desire to do the "if you are going to post then make the internet a better place with it" thing.

Or if you prefer
"No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right; a single experiment can prove me wrong."
