Hacking How important are title updates on Wii U games

Hello,

I'm really new to the Wii U and I was wondering if the title updates are needed on most Wii U games? I ask because I know on Xbox, some games ship with massive bugs. Does Nintendo do this? If so, how easy is it to add the title updates?

Updates are the same across all consoles. These game updates either fix bugs, or add new content. For games like Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario Maker, it's very much worth updating since you can get new content added to the game for free (Not as paid DLC). Though Mario Kart 8 has issues with Loadiine if you use updates.

Depends on if you're using Loadiine or real discs when it comes to adding updates to your games.

Disc users must install the updates through WUP installer (5.3.2 users only)

Loadiine users must install the updates by adding them in the game's data manually on a PC (4.1.0, 5.0.0, 5.1.0, and 5.3.2 users only)
