I have one of those huge Nerf cases for my DSlite.

It certainly protects it, although its a litttle too big to keep in my pockets now.

Ive had it for a couple months and I just took it out the other day and it blew my mind again how small the DSL is.

I kind of miss the small guy, I might spring for one of those crystal cases you guys are talking about...

I'm looking for someone's opinion on this silicon padded case or any other silicon padded cases if anybody has any thoughts about them.

I'm also planning on getting NERF armour soon, for protection against shocks and stuff. Pink FTW.

I treat it with care, and when it goes somewhere it goes in that free Final Fantasy III squishy pouch with the velcro closing strap up top that people got with the game when it was sold at certain locations.

Not sure which one had it, I think Target...got it as a gift for I think my b'day.

I have a phat, so i dont need to protect it, the outside is scratched to hell but inside is perfect

I have this and this for carrying my white and blue NDSLs. I only use the pouch with the blue NDSL if I'm going somewhere close, but if I'm going on a vacation or something I have this. I don't have any shell things because I only take my blue NDSL with me if I know I'm going somewhere where it won't get fucked up. The white NDSL is the one that I take to places like school.

i use an oakley sunglass baggy to hold my ds, not extra bulk, so it still fits in my pocket.

For those wondering what azotyp's case was. I had a look and it looks like the Blackhorns Polycarbonate Case with Silicon Insert. I'm going to order one and i'll advise whether it closes completely. The pics seem to suggest it does.

I've used a MadCatz crystal hard case for mine. It has worked flawlessly, no scratches or blemishes on my DS lite. It won't capture dust and dirt and scratch it up like the silicon skins do.

to carry my DS i use a cheap DS bag

Hori screen protectors! Fry's sells them in the store.

Other than that, I just use a cheap clamshell zipper case. It has a little padding, but I've found that the DS is pretty durable in its own right.

I own the same case as Rayder does, and I thought it felt cheap. It was good for holding the DS, but not for storage.

I also own a Nerf protector. I don't recommend it. It weighs too much, and I'm afraid it will break my DS' hinges.

I've been doing more research and the Black Horns seems to be a decent case to some people. Reviews claim there is no gaps. I'm still doing a bit more research and have yet to come across a polycarbonate case, which has 'clear' silicon inserts.
The Venom case protector doesn't haven't any silicon inserts.
The Dragon case protector doesn't have any either.
The Gametech case protector doesn't have any either.

I'm starting to lean towards the Black Horns, but hope there is a clear silicon insert somewhere for it. I might try and find a store that has some on display.

Anyone had any experience with any of these?

i heard the BlackHorn cases does NOT close all the way, but i have not personally use them before.
