The one that has three different characters on it.
Press it for the first one, hold shift for the second, hold Alt Gr for the third.
(I have a UK keyboard layout, it may be different)
It only has 2 options for me... ` and ~
I guess it's the american standard... because shift + 4 is $ and 5 is %
the tilde doesn't show up on the forum for whatever reason but a picture of the key
mine has § (while holding shift), and | (while holding nothing). My keyboard is norwegian
Looking at my keyboard, it actually has 5 things on it...
It's also a bilingual french/english keyboard...
what the fuck does your keyboard have a ie hotkey?
It's an internet hotkey, if i do fn+f1 it opens my default browser
yeah, but it does have the ie logo, so the manufacturer assumes you use ie... doesnt matter
he, what are the combinations?
press key for bottom left character
press shift+key for top character
press control+alt+key (alt Gr is both controll and alt in 1) for bottom right character
It's here so you never ever press the f1 key, to keep it working for when you get this error:
I have no idea... i only use ` and ~ it also has an extra key beside Z
And it does the same thing as "/ ?"
i got a similair key next to z, but its the < and >
fif you import your keyboard?
not showing up the correct characters means you selected the wrong language (in the language bar) for it
it's not imported as far as i know.. it's one of those keyboards that come default with prebuilt lenovo desktops, and i got it second hand
funny thing: when i was a kid, and my keyboard stopped working, my dad bought the most awfull terrible thing that existed
i remember it was so tin and slim pressing a key made the whole keyboard "hop" it was so floppy and had a really weird layout, for example the delete key was just 1 square size (the same size as a letter key)
one day i got tired and decided to use my spoiled kid privilege.. broke the thing in half on purpose and dad bought a very sturdy and very cool keyboard...
